Hi there friends!
It’s time to meet some of our wonderful friends! Meet our pug-pals, Prudence and Lennon! These cuties live with our pug mug winner , Ashley, and her new baby!
Here is what Ashley said about her cuties and rescue work in our blog comments:
“I am so thankful that I have an amazing family support system and that I am able to give two little dogs a chance at an amazing life as opposed to the life they previously had as they were both rescue dogs. I am also so thankful for the people all over the world who raise awareness of the animals who need help and try their best to make it happen. So many angels walk this Earth rescuing poor helpless abused and neglected animals. That job is not for the weak of heart and for them to continue to do it day in and day out I admire each and every one of them.”
Meet her two rescue dogs. This is Lennon!
“Lennon our 1/4 Jack Russell 3/4 Pug was adopted at just 6 weeks old. His owner was in a rush to be rid of him and basically told us if we didn’t get take him now he would be brought to a shelter. We took him immediately and had our local vet help us take the proper steps to ensure he was in the best care even though he was adopted out too early. He is the biggest suck-up to his Mom as a baby could be. He’s now 2 years old and definitely in the terrible twos (lol). He enjoys chewing on anything soft he can get his teeth on but thankfully he’s past the furniture chewing thing. He also loves cuddles with Momma and napping by the fireplace. He loves playing outside and chasing his bigger sister around. He absolutely hates the vacuum and when the smoke detector goes off.” (Us too! Why does that smoke detector thing have to be so scary?? Right Lennon?!?)
Now meet Prudence!
“Prudence our pug was rescued at 1 1/2 years old after living life from home to home and in very poor conditions. She is now 4 years old and the happiest little girl. He favorite hobbies include sleeping, cuddling with Momma, getting treats, giving kisses, laying by the warm fireplace, and going for walks. She absolutely hates bath time and having her nails clipped. If you’ve ever wanted to see what a pug scowl looks like come over during one of those two times and you will see.”
Ashely adds, “They are both my entire world. I wouldn’t be as happy if they weren’t in my life.”
Since writing about her doggie babies, Ashley has had a human baby! She reports that Prudence and Lennon love their little brother with all their hearts. We can’t wait to see pictures of the three of them together!
Biggest hugs to Ashley, Prudence, Lennon, and Little Boy Jack!
